My highest priority as a therapist is keeping a safe space where my clients and I can speak openly and authentically and we can, together, explore what's happening in their lives. I am an engaged and active therapist, committed to understanding my clients as deeply as I can. I work with adults, helping my clients gain a deeper awareness of their experience, their history and their current circumstances. I work collaboratively and compassionately with my clients to make sense of their feelings, thoughts and behaviors and develop a sense of trust in themselves and value in being who they are. My clients and I explore and experiment with new possibilities and new ways of engaging support in their lives. I specialize in working with people who are struggling with past trauma, experiencing critical or confused feelings about themselves or feeling challenged in their relationships.

Many of us experience loss and grief in large and small ways in our daily lives. What make these even more difficult experiences are the shame and self-criticism that many of us subject ourselves to, often without even being aware that we're adding on this extra wound. Together, my clients and I explore these wounds, bring the processes to awareness and find new ways of being with them.
