The Art of Awareness: Art Therapy in the Context of a Relational Gestalt Approach

This salon will explore the ways in which the utilization of an art-making process can support exploration and awareness for both the client and therapist. A mindful awareness will be encouraged as the possibilities of how, when and why to use a creative process is experimented with and investigated. No art making experience or skills are necessary to participate.

MICHELE CONKLIN MONTRONE, LMFT is in private practice in Los Angeles, where she works with individuals and couples utilizing a relational Gestalt approach, EMDR and Art Therapy. She has trained at the Pacific Gestalt Institute, is a board member of GTILA and a group supervisor at the Southern California Counseling Center.
